The book describes the existence of a biological clock that guides our psyche through different emotional states, ways of acting, and skills throughout our lives, changing every twelve years and every year, and in young children, changes are also visible every 1/12 of a year. These changes are synchronized with cosmic cycles that influence individual neurotransmitter systems. Throughout life, we go through strictly defined phases of the so-called developmental clock. However, in some people, the starting phase of the clock is disrupted, and the cycle is shifted. This makes these individuals susceptible to certain generally known mental illnesses.
